This year, we will be having discussions on fostering community empowerment in housing governance, addressing the struggles of rural renters, exploring innovative approaches to community engagement in design and development processes, and so much more.

Affordable Housing Month Art Contest

Exciting news: we're thrilled to announce the first-ever Affordable Housing Month Art Contest here at HLC! We're on the lookout for a standout piece of artwork that captures the essence of our theme, Connecting Communities through Housing, to transform into a sticker and help further our mission.

All you need to do is fill out the consent form below to officially enter the contest. Then, let your imagination run wild and create your masterpiece! Make sure to send your creation as a high-resolution PNG or JPEG to info@hlcsmc.org by May 15th.

And here's the best part: the winner will be revealed at our Affordable Housing Bus Tour on May 24th, 2024! Not only will they see their artwork come to life as a sticker, but they'll also snag complimentary tickets to our Affordable Housing Month Annual Bus Tour and a cool cash prize of $300.
