Redwood City Prioritizes Affordable Housing!

On Monday, October 10th the City of Redwood City took major steps in it’s “Gatekeeper” process. We want to publicly thank the Redwood City City Council for their unanimous support and prioritization of projects that provide the most amount of affordable homes at the deepest levels of affordability. It was a long meeting and there were capacity challenges presented to them, but they stepped up to the plate and offered future opportunities to address those challenges. We are eager to partner with the City to meet those resource challenges so that the council and staff feel that they can adequately support more affordable homes.

The story here is Redwood City continued their commitment to affordable housing, even in the face of difficulties. For more information check out the following San Mateo Daily Journal article.
